  1. The best advice I can to anyone who visits England and Europe give is to leave your electronics at home! .. No jobs! You can get a power converter, but why take the risk? Most hotels have an alarm in every room. If they do not need a warning.

    It can not be good for the long-term health of the radio on at a voltage that was not designed to operate.
