Why is it people insist on being so rude to servers? Any servers have horror stories of their own? - rude servers themed restaurants

I work in a family restaurant as a server and I am Telinga there are people who say it's terrible! Do not understand why I can not be good for us ... at least twice a week for the girls who scream says Something with more work, there are pictures. I personally think it's ridiculous. We have to see how people feel at ease! You do not know what to do!

I do not know any more work in the service industry, but some people do not remember very rude!   2. Many people can be rude to the servers b / c it. The chances are good that the server is not that one day, and honestly do not defend b / c of it.

    In addition, many people think the server as a person younger than she. Just B / C, they earn less than the minimum wage and are basically a slave.

    As a server is a very thankless task. Those who have never worked in restaurants, no idea how it works and works. The food not only on the table. Everyone must work properly for a restaurant job. People are not present, and given no credit.

    It's really a shame, what the situation, someone has the courage to do, other people feel bad about themselves.

  3. Well, when you search for "gross" and "training" in a dictionary, you find that "rough" meant originally "gross" and "educated" polished "means". In other words, "hard" as they are, by nature, whereas "short", are what some of us. And if your work deals with the public, you have to deal with this raw and courtesy.

  4. From my experience, people are frustrated, rude, but again, I worked in a bar type of restaurant, the miserable part of a hotel, so guests were more likely to be cumbersome at times. Most of the time I had the opportunity to converse with guests, but so tense, my clients (after breathing in the neck) with a piece of me, so everything was good.

    I also had a very bad experience with a waitress once. But I will not comment on it.

  5. Do not feel bad, not only the restaurant workers, everyone is in the works, which gives the public directly. I am a nurse, and people can so terrible! Not so for the patient but also family!
    Guardo demean smiling and professional, but I will not let you say or do things that prevent the patient's care.
    A good manager who knows how and when to destroy the bad behavior, is essential. Make fun of an employee behavior microscope is not mentally right, press may be ignored. Call server name incorrectly, or groping, no.
    The people are rude because we all care companies are looking for all the attention, even negative, is what society wants. It is a power-trip for this person. The best way is usually ignored. This eliminates the reward for bad behavior, his attention. People see others acting outside of television and the public can see the attention paid these people, we want that too.
    However, in the defense of public access, we all had a bad experience in a restaurant. A chain lost my BusiNess. The server and the waitress accidentally into the other, destroying dumping a pitcher of iced tea together at our table, 1 / 2 eaten food, clothing and even found ice pushed into the pocket. No apology, no replacement for food, there is no reason for the manager, not clean the table drain, nothing. My friend has a coupon for a free meal, and she said to send the manager, cleaning bill. Back, and my checkbook was soaked wi tea, less spending, but still! We are all agreed, after his departure, that if an apology was immediately and we offered substitutes said a word. Or make a scene, we were polite, quiet, solid as expected.

  6. I think it really is, as you can get away with it. They think we're a little less than human, and we have to work so I can not say anything back. I have a server and have been waiting 3 years in some weird thing, there is very little that people think we are servants and uneducated. I work because I love it! (mostly), I have a diploma and have lots of experience have other duties. Many servers I see in the school. Some are not, but at least have jobs and are so good! And also serves as a gift. It takes a true servant, truly a good servant. A good story that I was when I asked a man if he could on his plate and he did not say that I ignored. There were a few rib bones on the plate to the left and if I knew that was it. So I tried to clean your plate and say, 'I said' no 'you have trouble hearing? So I left the plate, and I went back into the hallway with some other dishes that you hear, with a profanity to describe my listening skills. His daughter and his wife arrived later and apologized and said he had no right to say so. He has a temper, I had done nothing wrong. I felt better. The girl told me that he was there to meet her parents, friends. What a shock!

    I will agree and Mr. Be Happy needs to serve a job. I've always said there should be a kind of law that everyone must work together in the service industry for at least 6 months to reach an idea to find what people actually do!

  7. Personally, I always do my best to make friendly with the people I serve. I do this for several reasons.
    1. I sincerely appreciate what they do for me and people I in my party.
    2. I have a good idea of how servers work, day after day.
    3. I have a good idea that the server is unwilling to pay the largest.
    4. It does me good, treat others with respect, especially if they are not expected.
    5. I want a good tip. I leave 15% for the terrible service, rare. I always leave more than about 20%. I leave more food, if the card is empty, to help the server.
    6. I love to return to places and that remind the server to me.
    7. Most servers have consistantly excellent work, or at least try always. Sometimes things are going to go wrong, no matter how hard we try, and I appreciate the sincere effort.

  8. While working as a cashier in a fast-food restaurant, which I understand well. People treat us like idiots, we were low, the class must meet the minimum wage, with their waste. In reality, these people are unhappy in their lives as a gift to be taken in exchange for your care, servers.They who is married with children or to pay tuition at a prestigious university, it is important that at the end of the day of your "satisfaction" as "better" than us, if they are worse in reality. Id rather be a fool, that the change is to throw in my checkout and thank you and not go home with something thats worth some big house where he can beat his wife, the janitor in the basement.
